By today’s standards, my mobile phone is pretty basic. It’s a Nokia. It’s a small device that receives telephone calls and sends text messages. Other than that, my phone does NOT DO that much. Most of my friends wish they could HAVE their own smartphones because they are cool and trendy. They say the GOOD thing about a smartphone is that you ‘can do everything with it!’ That’s right, smartphones have many more functions than a simple phone, however, not all of them are needed. In everyday life, smartphones are used mainly for checking social networking sites, replying to emails, and playing games. Grown-ups as well as children, like playing games. Anyway, I prefer my good old Nokia. It’s my number ONE mobile phone. When I bought it, it didn’t cost me very much. And I am not afraid anyone will ever steal it. It’s also very reliable. Yesterday I dropped it. It flew down the staircase and hit the wall. I thought that would BE the end of it and I would have to buy a new one. But nothing of the kind – it still works properly!

Vesna [10]
It is important to know the author's purpose because knowing the author's purpose can change how the story is being told. If someone said,"Mom, I would really like this new video game for my birthday." and the author's purpose was to inform, it would be informing the mom that the person wanted the video game. If the author's purpose was to persuade, that person would be persuading the mom to get him the video game.

You will write an 800-1000 literacy analysis of a piece (or multiple pieces) from the Harlem Renaissance. You can use the poetry
notka56 [123]

Answer:

The origins of the Harlem Renaissance lie in the Great Migration of the early 20th century, when hundreds of thousands of black people migrated from the South into dense urban areas that offered relatively more economic opportunities and cultural capital. It was, in the words of editor, journalist, and critic Alain Locke, “a spiritual coming of age” for African American artists and thinkers, who seized upon their “first chances for group expression and self-determination.” Harlem Renaissance poets such as Langston Hughes, Claude McKay, and Georgia Douglas Johnson explored the beauty and pain of black life and sought to define themselves and their community outside of white stereotypes.

Poetry from the Harlem Renaissance reflected a diversity of forms and subjects. Some poets, such as Claude McKay, used culturally European forms the sonnet was one melded with a radical message of resistance, as in “If We Must Die.” Others, including James Weldon Johnson and Langston Hughes, brought specifically black cultural creations into their work, infusing their poems with the rhythms of ragtime, jazz, and blues.

Which best describes the narrators behavior during the story(the yellow wallpaper)
patriot [66]

Openly emotional, ignoring propriety best describes the narrators behavior during the story (The yellow wallpaper).

b. openly emotional, ignoring propriety

Explanation:

The principle thought of Charlotte Perkins Gilman's 1892 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" is the subjection of ladies to men and the dehumanizing treatment generally endured by the previous on account of the last mentioned. The Yellow Wallpaper was her method for exposing ladies' persecution by utilizing the drug.

In "The Yellow Wallpaper," the storyteller experiences wretchedness following the introduction of her kid. Her significant other, john, analyze her conduct as "agitation." He endorses her rest and rents a house in the nation for her strengthening.

John is a regarded doctor, so the storyteller at first notices her better half's recommendation. She needed to change this severe attitude whether it was in medication or family jobs.

Plainly, the backdrop speaks to the structure of the family, medication, and convention in which the storyteller winds up caught. Backdrop is residential and humble, and Gilman ably utilizes this nightmarish, frightful paper as an image of the household life that traps such a significant number of ladies.
