We know that
A bowling lane<span> is 42 inches wide and </span>60 feet<span> long
1 ft-------> 12 in
60 ft-----> X
X=60*12------> X=720 in
</span>
[the length of a circumference]=2*pi*r
for r=8.5/2------> r=4.25 in
[the length of a circumference]=2*pi*4.25---------->26.69 in

if 26.69 in  represent---------------> 1 revolution
720 in (bowling lane)------------> X
X=720/26.69------> X=26.98  revolution

the answer is
26 revolutions

How can you use a picture to find 3 times 2.7
Hitman42 [59]
Hope this picture helps!

<span>The 2.7 has been broken into 2 and 0.7, and then both of these parts have been multiplied by 3, giving you the two answers of 6 and 2.1 shown. Adding these two together gives you the answer of 8.1. </span>

The function g(x) represents f(x)=9 cos (x-pi/2)+3 after translating pi/6 units left and 4 units up. which equation represents g
shtirl [24]

Answer:

g(x)= 9 cos (x - \frac{\pi}{3}) +7

Step-by-step explanation:

What is given is f(x) = g cos (x - pi/2) + 3

Note that the standard form of cosine function is a cos (bx + c) + d

a= amplitude

-c/b = phase shift

d = vertical shift

After moving pi/6 to the left --

x = pi/2 - pi/6 = pi/3

once moving pi/6 left, it is at pi/3

moving 4 units up just means adding 4 + 3, and that equals 7, that would be the vertical shift once applied.

So the equation that represents g(x) is C. 9 cos (x - pi/3) + 7

Answer:

p(x) =2(x-1) ^2-8

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Add the same value to both sides
  • Add 1 to the expression
  • Add 2×1 to the left side
  • Simplify factors
  • Move constant to the right
