The dimensions of Rectangle A are 6 times the dimensions of Rectangle B. How do the areas of the Rectangles compare
Vedmedyk [2.9K]
The area of Rectangle A will always be 36 times the area of Rectangle B.

For example:
If Rectangle B has length 1 and width 2, Rectangle A will have length 6 and width 12. By multiplying, Rectangle A will have an area of 72 and B 2. Divide the two numbers and you will have 36.

Feel free to try with other numbers if you want to test it out.

Mr. Reddick has 74 total yards of red and blue felt to distribute to students in his art class. Each of his 20 students gets 2.5
notka56 [123]
74 = 20(2.5) + 20(x)

74 = 50 + 20x

74-50 = 20x

24 = 20x

24/20 = x

1.2 = x

x = 1.2 yards of red felt

Please help with the mean, median and range, look at the picture!
Travka [436]

Answer:

Mean: 39  Median: 32.5 Range: 62

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you organize the numbers from least to greatest, so 10  15  19  46  72  72. The median is the middle number, so the average of 19 and 46( 32.5). The Range is the largest number minus the smallest number, so 62. and the mean is all the numbers added up, then divided by the amount of numbers, so 234/6 or 39.
