Can someone give me their own personal opinion and book review on Fahrenheit 451?
padilas [110]
I would Raye it 8.5, I would say it's a good book, it's written simply nothing compel but the style is really good there is so much development and chaos of a single character, it taught alot about self knowledge and dystopian society and how it can be very evil no spoilers but the main character wants true happiness and that's why he keeps going against societies ideas. You won't regret reading the book.

How is the author's point of view related to a text?
Archy [21]
I think it's B. I can't think of a single example of an author not being influenced by their time period and country.

Which text from "Helen Grey" explicitly explains a more important quality than beauty?
posledela
It would be easier for me if you attached the text. But I've get what you mean. In my opinion the most suitable part of "Helen Grey" explicity is that: But so you miss that modest charm. It show that sometimes you can't find real beauty.

Part of the appeal of "Those Winter Sundays" is that readers can draw their own conclusions about the speaker and his father bec
amid [387]

The line from the poem that leaves readers wondering what makes the speaker realize he should have appreciated his father more is: "What did I know, what did I know."

Before these lines in the poem, the speaker mentions that his father took the pain to drive the cold away from the house and polish his shoes.

However, when he woke up, he spoke to him indifferently. He then asks the question above to show that he did not know what he was doing at the time.

This question shows that he should have appreciated his father's sacrifices more.
