Answer:

The most valid inference that can be drawn from Golda Meir's speech is that she believed Jews could not be safe without their own country.

Explanation:

In his speech, Golda Meir refers to the atrocities suffered by the Jewish people in Europe as a consequence of the Holocaust, especially when it speaks of "millions of Jews being slaughtered during these years of war".  She believed that the creation of a Jewish nation was the only way to achieve full safety for the Jewish people.

Golda Meir was born in Ukraine in 1898. In 1906, she emigrated with her family to America, where she participated in her youth of Zionist organizations. In 1921 he moved to Palestine with his partner, also a member of Zionism. During the World War II, Meir lived in Palestine fighting for the creation of a Jewish state, seeing the atrocities that were committed against the Hebrew population.

Britain's approach to interacting with other European countries during Queen Victoria's reign was called "splendid isolation" by
Orlov [11]

Answer:

A) Britain stayed out of any territory disputes between other European nations.

Explanation:

During the reign of Queen Victoria, Britain was easily the biggest and most powerful empire in the world, and it wanted to stay in that position. Therefore, its politicians worked hard to avoid taking sides in any of the disputes over territory on Europe's mainland. Taking sides might have led other European nations to join together against Britain, which would have weakened its position.
