You are referring to the Cold War (1946-1991), which was primarily a political confrontation between two sides, the Eastern Bloc (the Soviet Union and its allies, which were communists) and the Western Bloc (the United States and its allies, which were capitalists). Each bloc aimed to achieve political, economic and military supremacy worldwide. Since there was no major or large-scale fighting, the conflict has been designated as cold.

This long (and indirect) conflict ended with the dissolution of the former Soviet Union (USSR) and the elimination of communist regimes in Eastern Europe and in other parts of the world. Furthermore, the United States came to be the world's main political and economic power.

Greeley [361]

Answer: Ambiguity aversion

Explanation:

In economics and decision theory in general, ambiguity aversion refers to the preference for known risks over unknown risks. This means that in a scenario in which there´s an option in which probable outcomes are unknown, people would rather choose an option in which probable outcomes are known.

No to be confused with risk aversion, which only applies to situations where each probable outcome can be established.

What statement best describes the status of women in ancient Egyptian society?
Alisiya [41]
They were equal as men in all aspects except occupation. Egyptian women often went about their business in the city including shopping for jewelry (a very popular activity for women from 3000 BC - Present Day lol) They basically didn't have to work (unless they were servants) and raised children. In return they were grateful to their husbands for providing money.
