Can you explain how more life-forms were able to create because of cyanobacteria PLEASE HELP
Ainat [17]

The cyanobacteria changed the composition of the earth’s atmosphere by evolving oxygen in what is referred to as the Great Oxygenation Event. This also allowed the ozone to be formed and block off most of the UV rays that are destructive to genetic material. Life was, therefore, also able to exist on land other than in water.

What protects food from entering the larynx?
Paul [167]
The epiglottis is a flap in the back of your tongue that prevents food from entering the larynx. When your mouth is closed, the epiglottis is in place and blocks the larynx opening. If your mouth is open, the flap lifts and the larynx is no longer blocked so you can breathe. This is why it's important to not chew with your mouth open... if you do, then food can go down the larynx by mistake.
