Poe's decision to use the first-person point of view affect the story because it only shows the narrator's version of events, it makes the reader sympathetic to him.

The correct option is C.

The story begins with the narrator getting sentenced to death. The story takes to the time during the Spanish Inquisition when the result of the death sentence was the most horrible and terrifying. The setting of the story and the characters are described in the terms of being pale, scary, torturous, painful and horrifying. The description of the pendulum which is described as an instrument of death gives a Gothic experience to the readers. The story begins with the letter “I” which marks the narration of the story being told through the first-person point of view.

What is 7/8-5/6 in simplist for
Yuri [45]
\frac{7}{8} -  \frac{5}{6}

So we need to find a common denominator, or else we can't do anything with these fractions.

We cross multiply;

= \frac{7*6}{8*6} -  \frac{5*8}{6*8}

= \frac{42}{48} -  \frac{40}{48}

= \frac{2}{48}

= \frac{1}{24}

What is pony boy afraid of
Maslowich

Answer:

That information causes Ponyboy to feel some guilt because he isn't sure if he had asked for Darry. Ponyboy fears that Darry will think Ponyboy doesn't care about him. Something in his tone of voice made me look at him. Mostly for Soda.
