Zoe tells her parents that she learned in her women's studies class that many of the gender differences that she sees are due to

inequities in power, money, and other resources between men and women. She says she is going to be taking part in a "walk for equity" to protest lower wages being paid to women in her community. Zoe's position is very much like that of which theorist?

Answer:

a. Alice Eagly.

Explanation:

Alice H. Eagly, a social psychologist, has published widely on the issues of sex differences, the psychology of gender, social role theory, attitudes- attitude change and it's structure, leadership and gender. She suggests that as men and women are constrained to different roles in the work force, it is normally assumed that that work embodies the psychological characteristics of the roles they play without any exception. She concludes that the most important and prevailing issues of gender differences in power, nurture and assertiveness are caused by the social hierarchy and the labor divide between the two genders.

Which is an example of racial or ethnic bias?
Degger [83]
C. Immigrant students are the hardest workers in school.

Why it’s an example of a racial bias cause it’s telling you that Immigrants can work a little more harder than an average student which can be a little bias if you think of it. Cause not all Immigrants students are hard workers as some try to work hard to get an education as some are just really slow learners compare to the average student.

Can someone help with these four? i don’t understand this at all. thanks!
maks197457 [2]

Answer: 1. Appeal to authority 2. Appeal to reason 3. Appeal to emotions 4.  Appeal to authority.

Explanation: 1) This is appeal to authority because they use the fact that scientists (a respected authority) have proved something.

2) This is appeal to reason because it states facts of lead in paint, reasoning the health affects.

3) This is appeal to emotion because the speaker is expressing how it is unfair to make a decision for the kids without getting their input/how they would feel.

4) This is appeal to authority because again, they are using the fact that the SOS (a respected authority) is agreeing.
