In the United States, the Supreme Court (option A) is the highest authority in legal matters and is part of the Judicial Branch of the government, which is why its decisions are final and can change the resolution of a lower court. The Supreme Court is formed by judges who are selected by the president and approved or not by the Senate, after this they have to serve as judges of the Supreme Court for the rest of their lives.
