The answer to 0.37 divided 5.18 is 0 technically 0.0714285714. 0.37 cannot be divided by 5.18 and get a whole number or a whole number with a remainder because it is impossible to get a exact number when you divide a little number by a big number. If you do 5.18 divided by 0.37 then you would get 14.

I hope this helped! :D

When asked to write a point slope equation for a line passing through the points (-4,-7) and (3,2) a student wrote y-2=-9/7(x-3)
AleksAgata [21]
First let's find the slope
Slope formula:
\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} =slope
Given the two coordinates:
(-4,-7) (3,2)
 x1,y1  x2,y2

Plug these numbers into the formula
\frac{2-(-7)}{3-(-4)} = \frac{9}{7}
In this case the mistake that was made was that the student wrote the slope negative instead of positive
Final answer:
<span>y-2=9/7(x-3)</span>

Two sevenths of the height of a sailboats tallest mast is 8 feet. How many feet high is the sailboats tallest mast
Rudik [331]

Answer:

The answer is 28 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Since two sevenths of the height of a sailboats tallest mast is 8 feet, we keep adding two sevenths until we get its tallest mast.

2/7 = 8 ft

4/7 = 16 ft

6/7 = 24 ft

(Adding 1/7 which is 4 feet)

we get 7/7 = 28 ft
