Answer:

Trinomials

Step-by-step explanation:

Trinomials take the form of x^2+bx+c usually

and that is what the equation is in.

Binomials are like (x-2)(x+3)  in which you have to multiply each parenthesis item by eachother so you would do the previous equation as (x-2)(x+3) like

x times x plus x times 3 plus -2 times x plus -2 times 3.

If that is confusing, just ignore what I wrote right here because you will or you already learned this and it is a pain to type.

Monomials are like 3xy^2 where there is one term, terms being the group of the variables and coefficient numbers which can even be paired up with an exponent, so 3xy^2+4y^2 there are two terms which are both bolded.

Polynomials are like -2x+7.

Hope this explains some of the other questions if they are similar!

This guy explains polynomials really well! Credits and cheers!

Not sure if this relates to your topic but it's the binomial theorem.

Which value for x makes the sentence true? 1/10 + x = 1/7
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

3/70

Step-by-step explanation:

change 1/10 and 1/7 so the denominator (bottom number) is the same.  1/10= 7/70 and 1/7= 10/70 so you need 3/70 to make the two numbers equal.

the length of a rectangle is two feet greater then twice its width if the primeter is 25 find the width
Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter is simply length + width. They gave us that the length is 2 feet plus 2 times the width:

25=(2w+2)+W

Subtract 2 from both sides to get 23 = 2w + w

Combine like terms to get 23 = 3w

Divide by 3 to get w=7 \frac{2}3} feet
