The correct answer is C.

While the miners could have found crude minerals, crude is not the term used for mining. The sketch would be, a rough sketch instead of crude. The flowers wouldn't be crude if they looked real.

I'm pretty sure its C. Crude means not yet processed or refined. It makes the most sense.
