I think based on the information, his body is in positive nitrogen balance. Positive nitrogen balance is associated with periods of growth, hypothyoidism, tissue repair, and pregnancy. It means that the intake of nitrogen into the body is greater than the loss of nitrogen from the body, therefore, there is an increase in the total body pool of protein. Nitrogen is an important element in the body; for example all amino acids contain nitrogen and are building blocks that make up the proteins.

Material through which water readily flows is termed ____.
Simora [160]
Material through which water flows is permeable. This material can be either natural or artificial. Naturally permeable material can be clean sand and gravel for example, or a sandstone and in the latter case the sandstone can have both porosity which is not synonymous with permeability as the pores must be connected to be permeable. An impermeable membrane could be used to line ditches for example to prevent leakage near mines.

Homeostasis and thermoregulation

When temperatures are too low, these processes may be disrupted, which can lead to cellular damage and even death. Homoeothermic endotherms, such as bears, bats, and birds, regulate their body temperature by generating heat internally.

Does cooking food destroy its potential vitamin levels? research
tester [92]
Hello friends..

Some (not all) of the nutritional value in vegetables is lost during the cooking process – but why?  Vegetables are packed FULL of vitamins, which are essential for our overall diet and the chemical reactions within our bodies.
Vitamins are split up into two different groups: water-soluble (B-complexes, and C) and fat-soluble (A, D, E, and K). During the cooking process, water-soluble vitamins are more likely to be destroyed.

Hope this answer helps you..
