<u>Answer:</u>

The correct answer is: translation, then reflection.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

In geometry, translation is described as the movement of an object or figure horizontally or vertically. While flipping an object or figure across a vertical or a horizontal line is called reflection.

From the attached picture, we can see that the figure can be shifted vertically from point P to R by some units.

And then if we reflect the figure NMP across the line which joins P & R we get the triangle STR.

Therefore, we need to first translate the triangle MNP and then reflect it to map onto TSR.

Alisiya [41]
Hello there! :D

Find the scale of the sides.

40/5=8 (the longer side is 8 times bigger than the shorter one)

3*8= 24

2x+10=24

Subtract 10 on both sides.

2x=14

Divide by two on both sides.

x=7

I hope this helps!

What is the range of y = sin θ ?
kap26 [50]
The range<span> of a function is the set of all the possible function outputs. </span>We know that <span>sin theta varies between -1 and 1 if we draw a graph. </span><span>According to the graph, the largest number that is an output of </span>g<span> is -1</span><span>, and the smallest number is 1</span><span>. Every number between them is also an output of </span>g<span> for some input. Therefore, the range of </span>g is [-1,1]. <span>
