You are going to write five statements about the sun. Your clues must be three words or less and they cannot use any part of the

object you are describing. These “clues” will be taken from information you have learned in this lesson. Sounds easy right?
For example, if I were to give you clues about the moon, some clues that I would use are:

Out at night Neil Armstrong walked
Has phases Causes tides
Has dark side

Get it? Great it is pretty easy. All you have to do is come up with 5 three word clues for each of these things that relate to the sun! Good luck!

There are five 3 word clues for each of the things related to the sun.

Corona- Aura of plasma, The sun's crown, Observed with coronagraph, Has High Temperature, Hard to see

Solar Prominence- Flame-like ember tongues, Large sun eruptions, One day formation, Affect solar atmosphere, Lasts for days

Solar Flare- Flash of brightness, Over sun's surface, Spectrum of emissions, Occur around sunspots, Ejects electron clouds

Sunspots- A temporary phenomena, On sun's surface, 11-year solar cycle, It appears dark, Expand and contract

How can you get equation b from equation A. 3(x+2)=18 B. X+2=18
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

We start with the equation:

A: 3*(x + 2) = 18

And we want to construct equation B:

B: X + 2 = 18

where I suppose that X is different than x.

Because in both equations the right side is the same thing, then the left side also should be the same thing, this means that:

3*(x + 2) = X + 2

Now we can isolate the variable x.

(x + 2) = (X + 2)/3

x = (X + 2)/3 - 2

Then we need to replace x by  (X + 2)/3 - 2 in equation A, and we will get equation B.

Let's do it:

A: 3*(x + 2) = 18

Now we can replace x by =  (X + 2)/3 - 2

3*( (X + 2)/3 - 2 + 2) = 18

3*(  (X + 2)/3 ) = 18

3*(X + 2)/3 = 18

(X + 2) = 18

Which is equation B.
