The Montgomery Bus Boycott started after the NAACP and Rosa Parks agreed to challenge a Montgomery law forcing black citizens to give up their seats to white citizens. After Parks was arrested for violating this law, members of the African American community and NAACP worked to organize a boycott. This refusal to ride on Montgomery public buses was made widespread thanks to speeches by people like Martin Luther King Jr. Ultimately, this boycottt was successful as the city of Montgomery changed their policy roughly one year after the boycott began.
No, I would have not dropped the atomic bomb over Japan. The reason I state this is because I would have considered the many people that would have died in the act. Entire families would have been vanished or broken apart, many years would have been shed. A lot of hearts would have never been mended through the course of time, a horrid memory would have stayed with them till their very death. Also, many innocent people would pay for the act of a few bad men.
