Given, each member of the group completed \frac{5}{12} foot of a tower for garden display.

There were 3 members in the group. We have to find total height of the tower.

To find total height of the tower we will multiply number of members with \frac{5}{12}

So height of the tower = (\frac{5}{12}) (3)

= \frac{(5)(3)}{12}

= \frac{15}{12}

Now to find the height we have to simplify \frac{15}{12}.

To simplify it we will divide the numerator and denominator by a common factor of them. Common factor of 15 and 12 is 3. If we divide both of them by 3 we will get, \frac{5}{4}.

We have got an improper fraction. We need to convert it to mixed fraction.

\frac{5}{4} = 1 \frac{1}{4}

So we have got the required answer.

Option A is correct.

9x+3y=18 whats is the equation when solved for y
lidiya [134]

Answer:

y=6-3x

Step-by-step explanation:

first subtract 9x from 9x+3y=18

                                   -9x       -9x

so you get 3y=18-9x or 3y=-9x+18 then divide both sides by 3

so you get y=6-3x hope this helps :)

When testing the claim that p 1p1equals=p 2p2, a test statistic of zequals=2.04 is obtained. Find the p-value obtained from th
AURORKA [14]

Answer:

0.0414 with an upper tailed test

Step-by-step explanation:

Claim: P1P1 = P2P2

The above is a null hypothesis

The alternative hypothesis for a two-tailed test would be:

P1P1 \=/ P2P2

Where "\=/" represents "not equal to".

Using a z-table or z-calculator, we derive the p-value (probability value) for the z-score 2.04

With an upper tailed test, the

2 × [probability that z>2.04] = 2[0.0207] = 0.0414

This is the p-value for the test statistic.

Focus is on the alternative hypothesis.
