Improvements are certainly an effort for a community to act progressively, to change the current situation for the better. In economic terms, progressivism emphasizes the equality of all market entities. It seeks to reduce the favour of large corporations and give everyone an equal chance to advance in the market.
  • In social terms, progressivism has brought about an improvement in terms of human rights in general. Women were given the right to vote; racial equality stood out, gay communities were allowed to form marital communities, and so on. Progressivism is today permeated through all the spheres of life. The elemental values of progressivism are filled through the constitution and laws themselves. Progressivism could not have come to the fore earlier for several reasons.
