I would argue that the right answer is the A: To describe the experience of doing something joyful. The person who has eaten the plums apologizes for having eaten them ("forgive me"). His words, nevertheless, seem to reflect the joy that, if only momentarily, he or she experienced while eating them, even if he/she was not supposed to do so - yet. After describing where they were located and recognizing that his or her addressee might have been saving them for another occasion, he or she ends his/her brief note by saying that they were "delicious," and "so sweet and so cold," in an attempt to express and share his/her joy with someone that, most probably, will enjoy his/her joyfulness. It is almost possible to visualize the plums, due to the clear and concise language.

William Carlos Williams (1883-1963) is the author of this famous poem.

Since nothing is underlined, I am going to make an educated guess that the underlines clause is "who had worked with the business person". If that is the case, the correct answer would be D - adjective clause. It is a relative clause, to be more precise, because it starts with a relative pronoun "who", but that is a part of adjectival clauses, so that is the correct answer.
