Answer:

Y(x) = 10x - 2600

Profit= RS. 1000

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount sold per item=RS. 50.

Cost of manufacturing= RS. 36.5

Distributor charges= Rs 3.5

Daily over head charge= RS.2600

Profit function Y (x)

Y (x) =x(50) -36.5(x) -3.5(x)-2600

Y(x) = (50-36.5-3.5)x-2600

Y(x) = 10x - 2600

If x= 360

Profit Y = 10(360) - 2600

Profit Y = 3600-2600

Profit = 1000

Profit= RS. 1000

5x(6x+28)=-23

Help I don't understand
aksik [14]

Answer:

Solve the equation for x by finding a, b, and c of the quadratic then applying the quadratic formula.

Exact Form:

x = − 70 ± √4210/30

Decimal Form:

x = −0.03

Step-by-step explanation:

5x(6x+28)=−23

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

30x2+140x=−23

Step 2: Subtract -23 from both sides.

30x2+140x−(−23)=−23−(−23)

30x2+140x+23=0

Step 3: Use quadratic formula with a=30, b=140, c=23.

x=−b±√b2−4ac/2a

x=−(140)±√(140)2−4(30)(23)/2(30)

x=−140±√16840/60

x=−7/3+1/30√4210 or x=−7/3+−1/30√4210

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST IF CORRECT ANSWER!!!
Rom4ik [11]

Answer : 2√3

Given :-

 • A equilateral triangle with side length 4.

To Find :-

 • The value of x in the given figure.

As we know that in a equilateral triangle , perpendicular bisector , angle bisector and median coincide with each other .

 • So the perpendicular drawn in the figure will bisect the given side .
 • Therefore the value of each half will be 4/2 = 2 .

Now we may use Pythagoras theorem as ,

→ AB² = BC² + AC²

→ 4² = 2² + x²

→ 16 = 4 + x²

→ x² = 16-4

→ x² = 12

→ x =√12 = √{ 3 * 2²}

→ x = 2√3

Hence the required answer is 2√3 .

I hope this helps.

What is the volume in cubic units of a cylinder diameter 6 and height 4
katrin2010 [14]

Hey there!

The formula for the volume of a cylinder is \pi r^{2} h, which is essentially the base multiplied by the height.

If our diameter is six, then our radius is three, so we can solve for our base below. We will use 3.14 for pi.

3^{2}(3.14)=28.26

Now, we multiply this by our height of four.

28.26(4)=113.04

Therefore, our volume is 113.04 cubic units.

I hope this helps!
