The US government was very involved in Latin America during the cold war often in an attempt to establish capitalist influences there.

Explanation:

During the cold war US and USSR engaged in various proxy wars to expand their sphere of influence and make the world run according to their preferred political belief.

To do this they often engaged in political maneuvering in countries that were yet to take sides.

To take the geographical advantage offered, US enticed Latin American countries into free trade systems and when they didn't follow they even funded coups in the countries.

Korvikt [17]

Answer:

According to Harold Kelley's attributional framework, people will probably make a dispositional attribution for your success on the basis of low distinctiveness, high consistency, and low consensus.

Explanation:

Attribution theories are concerned with attributing behaviors to either something innate to the person or a situation in which the behavior unfolds. In Harold Kelley's attributional framework, a dispositional attribution is used to describe behaviors that are caused by some internal characteristic. In the example provided, you were the only person to do well on the test so there is low consensus. There is high consistency because you tend to do well on all tests, and there is low distinctiveness because the behavior happens in other contexts, meaning you perform well on many different tests. This would make you exceptional at test taking compared to your peers and it is a personal trait or internal characteristic.

nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

b) infant-directed speech

Explanation:

In psychology, the term "infant-directed speech" refers to a type of speech register that is made by using simpler sentences and a slower rate, and constant repetition of words. One other main characteristic of this speech (among different cultures) is the high-pitched tone of it. This speech, as its name suggests is directed to infants.

In this example, Ursula speaks to her infant in short high-pitched sentences with exaggerated expression, clear pronunciation and pauses. We can see that the speech Ursula is using has the characteristics of the infant-directed speech.

uysha [10]

Answer: An accord and satisfaction

Explanation: When the original contract, claim or debt is replaced by a new legal contract where all parties have agreed to compensation and where that amount differs from the amount in the original original contract, then it is an accord and satisfaction. This can happen as in this case where there is a disagreement about the debt owed to the original contract, i.e when one of the parties considers that the entire amount of the debt has not been paid, whether due to some omission in the contract or any other omission. Then a new contract is signed to regulate the unpaid portion, thereby paying the debt from the original contract, which is an accord and satisfaction.

xeze [42]

Answer:

ITS B

Explanation:

The direction of velocity is perpendicular to the direction of the position and tangent to the circular orbit. Direction of velocity is constantly changing. When an object moves in a circular orbit, the direction of the velocity changes and the speed may change as well.

The direction of velocity changes at every point in a circular motion. The tangent at any point gives the direction of velocity at that point, where as acceleration is always directed towards the recent in a uniform circular motion.
