Okay, so you first have to know that 1 ounce = .0625 pint
Then you just divide your number of pints by .0625.
For example, let's imagine you want to know how many ounces there is in 10 pints.
All you have to do is divide 10 by .0625
The answer would be 160 ounces.

Ryan, Jessica, and Mark each solved this system of equations. All of their answers are different. Find and explain the mistakes.
Vika [28.1K]
6x - 2y = 10
-2y = -6x + 10...reduce by dividing by -2
y = 3x - 5....slope = 3 and y int = -5

y = 3x + 2 ...slope = 3, y int = 2

These lines are parallel. Parallel lines will have the same slope, but different y int's. There is no solution to this because ur lines never intersect.

Mark's answer is correct

weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

1) N = 2. 2) -7/3

Step-by-step explanation:

1)

6 = 3n

6/3 = n

2 = n

n = 2

2)

-3 = 3t + 4

3t + 4 = -3

3t = -3 - 4

3t = -7

T = -7/3

Solve equation 3x-5y=7 5x-2y=-1 by elimination
kakasveta [241]

Answer:

x = -1, y = -2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the elimination method,

multiply the first eqn by 2 and the 2nd eqn by 5.

6x - 10y = 14

25x - 10y = -5

Subtract one of the new equations from the other

-19x = 19

x = -1

Sub x=-1 into the 2nd eqn

-5 - 2y = -1

y = -2

Hence x = -1, y = -2.
