One day I met a boy name Case at a turkey calling convention. We thought we were in love. We lived two hours away from each other and hardly got to see each other. He was 15 and I was 12 he turned 16 after a month of us dating. We knew we couldn’t tell our parents but we really wanted too. After us dating for awhile I slowly started to realize that he was in love with his best friend instead of me. His girlfriend. I was not happy in the relationship, but I didn’t want to hurt him. I slowly started to realize that I was falling for someone I had a crush on when I was little. His name was Braxton. Me and Braxton started becoming closer and our bond grew stronger. We talked all the time! But after sometime it felt like we were more then just close friends. We were more then just someone to talk to. We had something that me and Case just didn’t. So a little after me and Braxton realized this Case found out about him. He thought it was cheating and no longer wanted to be in a relationship with me. A little after Case and I broke up Braxton asked me to be his girlfriend. I was absolutely shocked and couldn’t believe it. I said yes. Later on I tried to reach out to Case and apologize on how we ended but he told me that he was with Kayleigh. His best friend. I was in shock and couldn’t believe it. I was hurt. And then I thought “I wish I would have known better.”
