Describe how human male gametes differ from female gametes
Evgesh-ka [11]

Explanation: Gametes are the cells used during sexual reproduction to produce a new individual organism or zygote. The male gamete, sperm, is a smaller, mobile cell that meets up with the much larger and less mobile female gamete, egg or ova. Both sperm and egg are only haploid cells. They only carry half of the chromosomes needed.

What is the job of tRNA
exis [7]

Answer:

To make our mRNA

Explanation:

I think it is this one, but I am not sure, sorry if it is wrong. :(

But I do know this, I think it might help you:

A transfer RNA (tRNA) is a special kind of RNA molecule. Its job is to match an mRNA codon with the amino acid it codes for. You can think of it as a kind of molecular "bridge" between the two. Each tRNA contains a set of three nucleotides called an anticodon.

B) Write a hypothesis explaining the reason for the difference in bill length among
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

I think that birds have different bill lengths because of their habitats and their diet. Also natural selection and evolution has also played a factor due to the fact that birds have not always looked the way that they do now, for example the Archaeopteryx a  bird that lived around the time of the dinosaurs had a shorter and more powerful bill to grind insects and small mammals

Explain how chromosome behavior during meiosis ensures transfer of parental traits to offspring
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Explanation:

During meiosis, sister chromosomes of a homologous pair separate into different cells during gamete formation . This mainly occurs in Metaphase I of meiosis where the homologous chromosomes line up the metaphase plate in their sets. Each chromosomes of a pair are then pulled to different poles of the cells separating them. Each of these chromosomes carries a set of alleles of a gene. Each cell/gamete, therefore, carried half the set of alleles of all genes compared to autosomal cells. There many combinations of these sets that can occur depending on the number of chromosomes the organism has.

These cells when combined with that of another parent during fertilization, form a zygote that grows and develops into a mature organism. The offspring will bear the characteristics of both parents because it inherits half a set of chromosomes from both parents.
