Each family comprised of a man, wife or wives and children that constituted of an economic unit which was controlled and strengthened by the system of division of labor which was divided according to sex. Men had a role to clear and prepare land for farming, while women, and girls stayed at home to cook and take care of children, as boys went to herd the animals.
