The purpose of the three parts of the Federal government is clear.  To keep each other in check.  Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  We must keep these three parts of government separate and equal.  

First of all the three parts are The Executive

                                               The Judicial

I do not know what that whole chief of staff thing is about.    We do not want a King.  That is not the deal.  I do not like the idea of the appointed Supreme Court members who stay on it until they die.  They are un-elected and if you get a bad one, how do you get him off?  

The needs of the nation have not changed.  We just need to be protected from enemies foreign and domestic, and so basically provide for the common defense, promote general welfare of the people, (not like welfare as in free money),  and secure the blessing of liberty. That's it.   I think government has gotten out of hand.  Don't you?  We can do everything else ourselves.  The rest goes down to the states and the counties and the local government so the people can watch over it better.
