Answer:

epidemic, pandemic, epidemic

Explanation:

When a disease exists only within the boundaries of a given region or local population we talk of an endemic disease.

Malaria has been until the present a constant threat to communities in Africa. Given the conditions there it is highly likely that sometimes the disease arises even when efforts have in the past tried to eliminate it.

An epidemic situation usually is the outbreak of a disease that turns into an uncontrolled situation and extends in severity usually resulting in many deaths. Since it affects a large number of people governments try to take measures to control the situation and limit its impact but if the outbreak crosses boundaries then a pandemic occurs where most of the world is vulnerable.

The VIH or Aids is the popular pandemic that once was only reported in Africa continent first , then spread to Europe , Asia and elsewhere to be a global risk. Pandemics occur when they are already present worldwide.

Think of the ongoing situation in China with the coronnavirus , and how the situation is worsening to the point that cases in Europe are already being reported. All organized efforts are being done to limit the scope of the epidemic outbreak.

a. Why did the Continental congress make federal government weak when it drew up articles of Confederation?
Talja [164]
To summarize this, they were afraid. During that time, we had just managed to successfully leave the British government, and the whole reason we declared independence was because of an all-powerful king who controlled our lives through massive taxation, without listening to anything we said. We had developed a fear of a strong, central government like the British, so we did as much as we could to weaken our new government, even abolishing federal taxes, which meant no federal military or funding for anything like education, health, or safety at the federal level.<span />

How can a nation achieve inclusiveness? present it in points
Afina-wow [57]

Explanation:

Sha Zukang, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, appealed to the Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian and Cultural) to put social integration and cohesion at the heart of its work, as it opened its session today with a debate on social development.

Although the world is recovering slowly from the global financial, economic, food and fuel crises, Mr. Sha said the social impacts of those events persist, with employment in advanced economies only due to return to pre-crisis levels by 2015 and millions of people in developing countries pushed to vulnerable employment. Poverty reduction has meanwhile slowed, and education and nutrition initiatives have been set back.

Effective and sustainable implementation of the Action Agenda agreed at the General Assembly’s recent high-level meeting on the Millennium Development Goals would require “inclusive policies that put people at the centre of development,” he said. “Policies that reduce unemployment, fight poverty and lessen social injustice. Policies that pursue a society for all.”

Mr. Sha drew attention to a number of challenges, including the rapid ageing of the world’s population (with 2 billion people forecast to be over the age of 60 by 2050), the situation of persons with disabilities (four fifths of whom live in developing countries, mostly in rural areas, and often in poverty), the status of indigenous peoples (“They are among the most disadvantaged people in the world,” he said) and the impact of the financial and economic crisis on young people (who represent 44 per cent of the world’s unemployed).

Yemen’s representative, speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 developing countries and China, said progress in social development had been “uneven and disappointing”, with more than 1 billion people suffering from hunger and 1.4 billion living in extreme poverty for the first time history. In such a context, he said, implementing the commitments of the World Summit fo
