Answer:

backward; likely

Explanation:

In backward conditioning, we are exposed to the unconditioned stimulus before we are aware of the neutral stimulus. (in the example above, the bite is the unconditioned stimulus, and the dog is the neutral stimulus)

This type of conditioning is only 'Likely' to be effective because the person tend to do not see directly how the neutral stimulus cause the unconditioned stimulus.

Let's examine the example above again :

I feel a bite and then see the dog that bit me.

We can say that the person DO NOT directly witnessed the dog bited him/her. That person only guess that the dog is the one bited him/her since it's close. There is still a chance that the person's bitten by other animals.

NARA [144]
A company with that amount of revenue still saying that they hardly keep the doors open is probably because the profit is maybe negative. Profit is calculated by subtracting the total cost, that is the summation of the fixed cost and the variable cost, from the revenue. Even if the revenue is high, if the cost is also high, the profit will remain low.

He was wrong to execute Thomas scott. Luis riel should have thrown Thomas Scott into a jail and ask him why he is so rude and why they dont listen to their suggestions. The Canadian government are the ones who sent Thomas Scott to Red river and claim it to Canadian's. If the Canadian government would listen to Metis, Thomas Scott wouldn't had been excecuted.

The USA PATRIOT Act (reauthorized by Congress in 2006 with a few changes), the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 2008, an
Morgarella [4.7K]
The US patriot act violates the civil liberties of the American people by giving the government opportunity and rights to treat citizens in many undignified and uncouth ways. It changed the nations ranking from one of the most free countries in the world, to somewhere in the 40th percentile. The bill allows for too broad of a scope of power to federal authorities, violating the rights to privacy among many other civil rights. Because of this I feel the War on Terrorism has greatly overstepped appropriate boundaries of civil liberties, and human rights. I am not sure how they should go about reconciling this issue, but as sure as they should, its likely they won't because government enjoys having more power than the people.
