PSYCHO15rus [73]

(B) The scholars at Jundi Shapur were interested in various disciplines.

B is the best answer because it most accurately shows an inference from the passage. We know that the scholars were interested in various disciplines because it says, "The school created the very first teaching hospital in the world, a place where the sick were treated and young doctors learned their craft, as well as a fine observatory to track the heavens." This shows that the scholars studied everything from medicine to astrology. Option A is incorrect because the passage does not indicate that any of the academics had been persecuted. Option C is wrong because the passage says nothing of the scholars' genders. Option D is wrong because it does not include all of the cultures of the scholars that are talked about in the passage.

Based on your knowledge of our justice system history, is our justice system good? Explain
iris [78.8K]
Well, depending on your area the Justice System could be great, or absolutely horrible. In America, I would say the Justice System is horrible. People who commit hate crimes against gender, race, sexuality etc., could easily get away with no punishment. It could take up to years to finally get justice, but if you don’t have enough money they take advantage of that and make the prices extremely high. White supremacy does a lot of harm in Justice System, it causes bias reactions and wont take you seriously based off your race. Because of what I’ve stated above, I think the Justice System has and will always be disgraceful and in incompetent.

First of all we can not compare Chester, a serial killer, with Joey, who committed a murder without intent, the intention defines the type of crime, and consequently the penalty that it must be met. Joey should not be considered a criminal because he has no criminal mind, and his action was not planned, in addition to having special needs, which places him in a possible state of no criminal responsibility, that will depend on the level and type of disability he possess. According to the laws, parents are not obliged to disclose their children, but there is a responsibility regarding the obstruction of justice, and his father could respond criminally. In this case, you must ask for the acquittal of the penalty for the disability, but at the same time, the clarification of the circumstances to grant justice to those affected.
