The term 'invisible hand' was first used by Adam Smith in the 18th century to describe the efficiency in the autoregulation of free markets, where free means not externaly intervened by governments. Intervention distorts markets and harms the efficiency of their functioning.

The main principle behind is that, when individuals pursue their "private" efforts they are generating larger wealth for society as a whole than if their first intention was to help society. The markets will be in charge of channelizing individuals interests into socialy desirable outcomes.

People from which country focus on the entire face when reading facial gestures?
Alex_Xolod [135]

People's culture influences the way how individuals read facial expressions of others; although eastern cultured individuals such as Japanese tend to have a holistic approach when reading other people's emotions, considering what surrounds that other person to identify them, they tend to focus particularly on the eyes; and people from more western countries like Germany i.e., in spite of the tendency of value human independence over the individual's interconnection with the rest of the group, they tend to focus more on the entire face.
