Okay so I sort of get all of this, but how do I solve any of these? How does the equations work? Can someone please help me out with these questions and try to explain it fully to me?

For 1 you have to. juat but the variable on one side side like for a)9x=5x+8 and minus 5x on both sides which equals 4x=8 then divide both sides by 4 to get x by itself which equals x=2

For 2 you have to distribute like a)2(x-3)=15 is 2x-6=15 because you distribute 2 with x-3

For 3 just plug in the value like since it said x=2 so 3x to 3(2) and just multiply

For 4 just move variable on one side lime for 1 but twice

For 5 distribute and move variables on one side to another but for B you have to combine like terms like 6z-z=5z
