The correct answer is - NATO.

NATO was an organization created by the United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, pretty much the countries that were allies in the World War II. The purpose for its creation was to have bigger security as all of them were obliged to support each other when facing a threat, but also to become a dominant global geopolitical factor and protect the interests of the member nations.

The Soviet Union saw this organization as a direct threat so it rushed into development of as much weapons of mass destruction as possible, including atomic bombs. Apart from the rapid increase in militarization, the Soviet Union also formed organization with the same purposes, the Warsaw Pact, an organization consisted of countries that shared the same socialist ideals as the Soviet Union.

The Three-Fifths Compromise was rendered moot, or legally useless, by
klemol [59]

Answer:

Section 2 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Explanation:

The Three-Fifths Compromise of the US Constitutional Convention is an agreement between the Northern and Southern states of America regarding the manner of population count that needs to be done for the basis of taxation and determining representation in the House of Representatives. This agreement is famous for its decision to count only three-fifths of the slave population for the population count.

This agreement not only wrongly number the slave population thereby leading to lesser representation in the House, but it also prevents landowners from paying the full tax on their property as only three-fifths of their slaves were accounted for.

This <u>Compromise was later rendered moot or useless by the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution in its Section 2</u>. As Section 2 of the Amendment states <em>"Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed." </em>

Which 2 causes for the fall of Rome were most important? explain why.
Gennadij [26K]

Invasions by Barbarian tribes. ...

Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor. ...

The rise of the Eastern Empire. ...

The most important reason for the collapse of Rome was the failure to actually integrate what they conquered. When Roman soldiers conquered new lands, it was rare that they ever attempted to force their culture, ideals, or laws upon the natives and barbarians. Thus, when the Empire began suffering internal struggles, the natives they had conquered decided to take action, which lead to the swift collapse by barbarian invasion from all sides. It's hard to pick a LEAST important reason, seeing that there were many of them, but I suppose a contender would most likely be the common refusal of the Empire to even acknowledge that barbarians were rising. On the outer edges of their territory, in places like Gaul and Morocco, the Roman government was reluctant to even recognize the threat of the barbarians, thinking that even accepting that these barbarians were causing trouble would weaken their prestige in the public eye.

In your opinion was the Treaty of Versailles fair – why/why not?<br> Pls answer it, thanks!
Airida [17]
In my opinion, it wasn’t fair. It blamed the entire war only on Germany, which caused them to have a severe economic depression and crumbled their entire nation. This is one of the reasons why Germany started WW2. Germany also wasn’t the only nation that completely started WW1, it started when a Serbian terrorist group assassinated the Archduke of Austria- Hungary.
