Speed is the magnitude in a velocity. It is a scalar quantity so it does not have direction unlike velocity which is a vector quantity. Speed and velocity refers to the distance traveled by a moving object per unit of time. We calculate speed as follows:
Speed = distance / time = 84 miles / 2 hours Speed = 42 miles per hour
The lcm of all pairs of odd numbers is sometimes their product. Some examples: 3 and 9, the lcm is 9 not their product 3 and 11, the lcm is 33 their product and so forth
When adding fractions with even denominators, you will not get a whole number, there will be a 1/2. When adding fractions with odd denominators there will be a whole number.
