Answer:

Parasitism

Explanation:

Parasitism is the association of organisms wherein one of the organisms, the parasite, derives its nutrition or other resources from the host organism.

In the given example, wasps inject their eggs into the caterpillar to allow their larva to derive nutrition from the caterpillar. Here, the wasps are benefitted while the caterpillars are harmed as their larva die of lack of nutrition. Hence, it is an example of parasitism.

The relationship between the wasps and the caterpillars is parasitism.
This is because the wasps sucked the life out of the caterpillar with the caterpillar getting nothing in return.

How are meiosis and mitosis different apex?
kipiarov [429]

Both meiosis and mitosis refer to the procedure of cell division. They utilize the similar steps for cell differentiation, like prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.

However, mitosis is the procedure that takes part in asexual reproduction, while meiosis takes part in sexual reproduction. The higher forms of life, like animals and humans go through the process of meiosis, and the resulting offspring are genetically distinct in the case of meiosis, while the offspring is similar in case of mitosis.

Meiosis involves two steps of differentiation, in comparison to the solitary phase in mitosis. During the process of meiosis, the amount of chromosomes is minimized to half, on the other hand, in mitosis, they remain the same. Lastly, the process of mitosis generates two diploid cells, while in meiosis 4 haploid cells are generated.

How do organisms reproduce?
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

The organisms reproduce in two ways:

Asexual Reproduction– In this process, only a single parent is involved and no gamete formation takes place.

Sexual Reproduction– In this process, two parents are involved and gamete formation takes place. Meiosis is an important step in sexual reproduction.

Key Points on How do organisms reproduce

 • Reproduction is the process of producing new individuals of the same kind.
 • Organisms reproduce in two ways- asexually and sexually.
 • Asexual reproduction does not involve the fusion of male and female gametes. This takes place in bacteria, amoeba, hydra, etc.
 • Sexual reproduction involves the fusion of male and female gametes and can be seen in humans and many animals.
 • Fission, budding, vegetative propagation, fragmentation are some different types of asexual reproduction. It does not require any reproductive organs.
 • Sexual reproduction involves the reproductive organs of male and female.

Caffeine cause dose dependent prominent increase in force of contraction and period of contraction of muscle

Explanation:

Caffeine is widely used in foods and drinks. Its long time use can effect central nervous system include lethargy memory, sleep disorder and anxiety.

Increase in concentration of calcium ion will result increase number of power stroke and force for contraction. However latent period and relaxation period are unaffected by caffeine. Increase in concentration of calcium ion will result increase number of power stroke and force for contraction.

Because of calcium ion release in skeletal muscle, caffeine causes peripheral manifestation such as hyper-reflexia, muscle twitching etc.

High amount of caffeine leads to increase in release of Ca2+ from sarcoplasmic reticulum. It increases tension development in single tetanic contraction and re-initiate maximum tension in fatigue single myofibre by restoring Ca2+ release from sarcoplasmic reticulum to non-fatigued levels.

My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

Basolateral complex

Explanation:

Amygdala is that part which is situated at both the right and left side of the brain's temporal lobes that is believed to play a vital role in the evaluation of the emotions and the recognition of different situations and also helps to detect the potential harms.

Amygdala has further two parts, one is the central nucleus and the other is basolateral complex where the function of central nucleus is paying attention.

Basolateral complex is another part having dense connections and various sensory regions in the brain critical for the attachment of the evaluation of emotions to memory and learning.
