Plate tectonics theory explained the plate movement and evolution from 65 million years ago which is pre cambrian era. There were seven major plates in the world such as Pacific plate, North American plate, South American plate, Eurasian plate, African plate, Indo Australian plate and Antartic plate. There were three movements in the plate such as Convergence plate boundary, divergence plate boundary and Transform plate boundary. Pacific plate is biggest plate among all.
