Answer:

TRUE

Explanation:

Carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas is an important greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. A small increase in its concentration can lead to an increase in the earth's surface temperature. This increasing temperature has a direct impact on the glaciers of the high mountain ranges such as the Himalayas and the Andes mountain.

The glaciers of these mountains are melting over the years, on which the millions of people are directly dependent. During the summer season, these glaciers melt and come down as runoff. This provides water to the living organisms, thereby forming the water resources.

If these glaciers melt, then there won't be any water during the summer season, as a result of which millions of people will have to suffer.

Thus, the emission of CO₂ directly damages the glaciers of the Andes mountains, on which the people are dependent on the runoff.

Hence, the above statement is True.

It could have pros because it may be a better technique, and helps you get more of what you want, but it could also have cons, because it could give back less than what you got with the other technique. This is like if you have a job filing paperwork, and you have a good technique or tool to help you along quickly, but you decide to try something new, and end up being able to get things done faster. However, you might decide to change your techniques again, and you may find that it gets things done much slower. Hope this helps.
