What was the result of the U.S. government withdrawing federal troops from the South during Reconstruction?
Alex

Answer:

Southern states passed many laws to limit African American rights, and Reconstruction ended.

Explanation:

I believe it is the last option because the withdrawal of federal troops from the South in 1877 allowed white southern Democrats to reverse many of the political and social gains made by African-Americans during Reconstruction.
