The negative effects of the destruction on the global environment as well as on the local environment are the following :

1) If forests are destroyed for making commercial area, the habitat of animals are also destroyed.

2) Forest helps in the cleaning of environment by consuming carbondioxide and releasing oxygen. If destruction of forest occurs, the environment remains polluted.
