Which word group shows parallelism?

English
2 answers:
loris [4]3 years ago

Parallelism means that the same form of words is used in the entire group of words. So, here, I believe that the correct answer should be to take a warm shower, to dry myself off, to comb my wet hair.As you can see here in this group, all words start with an infinitive - to + verb, and have the same form, thus, this should be the option to choose.

Which is a theme present in the ballad "Fair Rosamond"? A. gallantry B. revenge C. heroism D. personal adventure
katrin [286]

Answer:

B. Revenge

Explanation:

Rosamund Clifford, also known as The Fair Rosamund, was a mistress of King Henry II of England, famed for her beauty. She inspired many ballads, poems, stories, and paintings. She was born a bit before 1150 and died young, around 1176.

According to a legend, Henry's wife, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, found out about Henry's affair and poisoned Rosamund, killing her. It is not clear whether this incident really took place, as it was not mentioned by the chronicler of that time but only in the 14th century. With time, the story spread, receiving various details. Thomas Deloney, an English novelist and balladist from the 16th century, wrote "The Ballad of Fair Rosamund", which tells this tale of revenge.

This is another compound sentence due to the complexity it has. It contains one dependent clause and two independent clauses.

So the answer is letter D compound complex.

Use any main verb of your choice to write out the different tenses in English language
kumpel [21]

Answer: To learn them, you may need to think about time in a different way ... There are three main verb tenses in English: present, past and future.

They are divided into four aspects: the simple, progressive, perfect and perfect progressive.

There are 12 major verb tenses that English learners should know.

English has only two ways of forming a tense from the verb alone: the past and the present. For example, we drove and we drive.

To form other verb tenses, you have to add a form of have, be or will in front of the verb. These are called helping, or auxiliary verbs.
