Languages do have power over the world. They help us communicate and tell others our feelings and explain our thoughts. If it weren't for languages, we wouldn't be able to be where we are today. Languages from all over the world shape us in a way that nothing else can. They can tell others where we're from because of the accent and of the actual languages.

Hope I helped.

svp [43]

Answer:

B.

Explanation:

"Madame Bovary" is the first novel of Gustave Flaubert and considered his masterpiece. The novel is about Emma Bovary who is married to Charles Bovary, who is dull and boring, which leads her to have illicit affairs and unfortunate demise.

From the given excerpt, the passage reveals that Charles is considered boring by his wife because his conversation were flat and tame, unable to match Emma's romantic fantasies.

Therefore, option B is correct.
