To judge whether or not a conclusion is successful, simply look back in the story and try to relate things in the story with the conclusion. Depending on what you find will determine whether or not the conclusion is successful.

It will summarize the text, have the thesis again in the conclusion, and have a sentence to wrap it up for it to be successful.<span />

My pancake cake recipe:
Assume the mix has already had water added.
1. Lightly whip the mix until it's slightly resistant
2. Generously dash it with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon
3. Stir until the mixture blends with the mix somewhat evenly
4. Chill 1/4 cup of whole milk then with vanilla extract, add to the mix and continue to stir (until even)
5. Pour mix into container and lightly sprinkle with chocolate chips
6. Cook until a light or golden brown and then add light drizzle of maple syrup
