Commerce power - Congress has power to regulate foreign and interstate trade In the United States Constitution, the commerce clause is a very important aspect.This is because it a source of the scope and limits of the Federal Government's power to regulate the economic activity of the United States. The Commerce power among the several States” permits Congress only to facilitate trade among the States

Currency power -Congress has power to coin money and regulate the value thereof. The United states constitution grants certain powers to the congress which include the power to coin money or the currency money. This is  through the enumerated power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States.
