Answer:

Due to the State of War, these meassures were necessary from a military perspective to protect the rearguard.

Explanation:

Due to the immigrant base of American society during the period, vivid fear of "fifth columns" were rooted in the USA. However, it can also be argued that these acts were the first act of reflecting the limits of the democratic process when confronted to the so-called "national interest". So, if you agree with the need of the nation, you can justify these meassures to protect the interests of the State (which can also be the ones of the dominant elite).

Following the collapse of the USSR, Cuba’s government
Anika [276]

The correct answer is: "remained Communist".

Cuba has been a socialist state governed by the unique Communist Party since the sucess of the revolution leaded by Fidel Castro in 1959, which managed to remove the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.

After the collapse of the USSR (1991), Cuba lost its most powerful ally, that had helped them to survive after the trade embargo and the international sanctions that the US had set on Cuba. Therefore, the country experienced very severe economic consequences at this moment but this did not change the government or the economic system.

strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

(A) When talking to others, young children often fail to take their listeners' knowledge and perspectives into account.

Explanation:

A five-year-old is still in the process of intellectual development, so she is not yet able to identify perspectives and make logical associations, such as the fact that two people she knows but who are in different environments do not know each other, like the case of the teacher and a personal friend. Adults know this and should seek to develop these skills in children, but in a natural and healthy manner.
