The cabinet members are responsible for advising the President on any issue or subject he may require that is related to the duties of each cabinet's member's respective office. The members are sometimes called Secretaries.
In the USA, the cabinet includes the vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments - the secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Defense, Energy, Health and Human services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, Veterans Affairs, as well as the Attorney General.
