The answer would be synonym. A synonym is a word that means almost the same thing as another. When you pamper a pet you give them a lot of attention, or spoil them.

Answer:

The answer is indeed letter A) They are synonyms

Explanation:

The verbs pamper and spoil are different words that possess the same meaning. They both refer to the action of being too indulgent or lenient to a kid, giving them too much attention and even too many material things and, by doing so, harming their character. If the two words have the same meaning, they are synonyms.

They are not antonyms, since this type of words are the ones the have opposite meanings. They are not mereley analogous. Analogous words present some sort of connection between them, but they don't have the same meaning (for example, brain and computer). Finally, they are not homophones. Homophones are words that present the same pronunciation, but different spellings and meanings.

What are your thoughts on Van Gogh's work? (50 to 100 words or more)
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

As an art major in college, I was exposed to a lot for different artists, in my studies. I have also traveled to Italy, trying to satisfy my hunger for art from the renaissance period, the baroque, and Michaelangelo’s ceiling, and all the grandeur that is Rome, and my exposure to impressionism and the impressionist painters was not nearly that complete. I knew the artists, and their major works, from slides in Art history classes. But didn't seek or get a deeper understanding of impressionists until much later in life. When I went to the impressionist exhibit at the de Young museum in San Francisco, and I stood in the same room with, and saw the actual canvas that was home to Monet’s “Sunrise”, and Degas’ dancers, and “Whistler’s Mother” and many more. But I did not turn around and fight against the current of the crowd, trying to go back, and look again, and then, a third time, at the same painting, for any of them except Van Gogh “A Starry Night on the Rhone”.I could have looked at that painting for hours, days even, and not been tired of it. I have never seen anything like the way that paint on a simple panel moved, and breathed.VINCENT Van Gogh, in a simple manner, turned flat yellow dots into the light on the water that danced, into the night sky. Instead of painting the stars, or the lights, or the ripple in the water with his brush, he just made a yellow mark over the navy in a way that became those things.

I think his interpretation of light is much different than other impressionists. I think he portrays light and shadow in a way unique only to him. It makes sense. It is beautiful, yet most unpredictable. Had he not show us his vision of Starry Night, we would not be able to guess the language, the grammar of how he would produce this image.

Painters have a stunning ability to portray a three-dimensional vision, in two dimensions, that appears as if it is three. Vincent Van Gogh does not bring us back with that same sort of sleight of hand, through perspective, and shadows to the illusion of three-dimension.

He leaves us in the two, yet still manages to create a subtle, natural balance and movement.

A different sense of minimalism.

Please select the word from the list that best fits the definition

Enjoys reading
deff fn [24]

Answer:

There are different answers to this.

Explanation:

This is the full question:

Please select the word from the list that best fits the definition Enjoys reading

A interpersonal

B musical

C body-kinesthetic

D spatial

E linguistic

F intrapersonal

G logical-mathematical

From this list, the answer that best fits is E. Linguistic

This is because the other options have nothing to do with reading. Linguistics is the scientific study of language. A linguist studies language from the origin of words, the grammar and other aspects of language. In the light of this, a linguist has to enjoy reading seeing as they study language and indeed words.

Note: As for the question itself "enjoy reading"

Other words that can be used in to describe someone who enjoys reading is bibliophile or a bookworm.

Also, in learning there are visual learners. Visual learners learn by seeing or forming an image of what they're learning. A visual learner will prefer and enjoy reading than just listen because he/she understands and learns better that way.

Participles are words that are formed from verbs but act as adjectives. They are called verbals. What is more, phrases are a group of words without a subject and a verb that function as as single part of speech. Therefore, participles consist of the participle and its complements and modifiers.

Taking all this into account, it can be said that the participial phrase is "trimmed that morning" and that it modifies the noun "grass". This is a past participle which is further specified by the NP "that morning" which gives information about the time in which the grass was trimmed.
