Taylor earns $5 each time she walks her neighbor’s dog. She has already earned $25. Write and solve an equation to find out how

Answer:

12 times

Step-by-step explanation:

x is the number of times she has to walk dogs multiplied by 5 dollars she gets each time plus the 25 she started with all equal to 83 because that's how much she needs

5x + 25 = 83

-25 -25

5x = 58

5x/5 = 58/5

x = 11.6

can't walk the dog a 6th of a time so rounded to the nearest while number ti get 12

she has to walk dogs approximately 12 times

Given function :

  • h(x) =  - x - 1

we have to find h(-2) :

  • h( - 2) =  - ( - 2) - 1

  • h( - 2) = 2 - 1

  • h ( - 2) = 1

Write two fractions with different denominators whose LCD is 36.
mestny [16]
Two whole numbers whose least common denominator is 36 could be many different pairs: 1 and 36, 2 and 36, 3 and 36, 4 and 36, 4 and 18, 4 and 9, 6 and 36, 9 and 36, 9 and 12, 12 and 36, 12 and 18, 18 and 36, and lastly 36 and 36.

If you want fractions in simplest form, with different denominators, and with an LCD of 36, I would go with 4/5 and 9/13.

I think the reason these work is because 5, 13, and 36 are all pairwise relatively prime (meaning the LCD of any two of them is their product), and because the LCD of 4 and 9 is 36, like I said earlier.

Determine the region of the xy-plane where the solution of the DE would have a unique solution passing through the point (x0,y0)
Virty [35]

Answer:

given equation,

(9-y^2)\dfrac{dy}{dx}= x^4\\(9-y^2)dy = x^4 dx\\\int (9-y^2)dy =\int x^4 dx\\9y -\dfrac{y^3}{3} = \dfrac{x^5}{5}+C

so,

the given point from where the region is passing through is (x₀, y₀)

hence, the unique equation comes out to be

9y_0 -\dfrac{y_0^3}{3} = \dfrac{x_0^5}{5}+C

C = 9y_0 -\dfrac{y_0^3}{3}-\dfrac{x_0^5}{5}

hence unique equation,

9y -\dfrac{y^3}{3} = \dfrac{x^5}{5}+ 9y_0 -\dfrac{y_0^3}{3}-\dfrac{x_0^5}{5}
