One of the significant meetings is of the Suffolk meeting held by the Boston representatives in the county of Suffolk. The series of resolves stated by Joseph Warren about the coercive act has become popular as Suffolk Resolves.

These resolve are- i) claiming the act as unconstitutional and resignation of officials related to this act were demanded, ii) boycott was held against British trade and goods and many more. These resolves came into effect on 9th September.
