Cliometrics sometimes refered to as new socialhistory, or econometric history, constitutes the systematic application of economic theory, econometric techniques, and other formal or mathematical methods to the study of history (particularly social and economic history). It consists on a quantitative approach to economic history.

Cliometrics can be defined as a technique for the interpretation of economic history, based on the statistical analysis of large-scale numerical data from population censuses, parish registers, and similar sources.

No it did not alter the war on the Allie’s side. Many of the soldiers felt petty and sorrow for the people in the death camps but militarily wise the air force knew of the death camps and could of bombed certain facilities in the death camps to disturb and save lives but they wanted to save there logistics and focus them on the war effort
