• How might effective communication (oral and written) help you advance in your education and your career?
Sauron [17]

Effective communication, both written and oral, is essential for (most) careers in that it allows you to effectively articulate what you a. want b. need c. have found to be true d. would like to see happen.

I'm a former teacher and a third-year law student. I work regularly on written legal memos on environmental issues. I also have to go in and explain those memos. Without written and oral communication skills, the people that I am working with will have no idea what I believe or have found to be true on a particular matter.

Facts about the Numidian empire
Ivahew [28]

Numidia was the ancient kingdom of the Numidians located in what is now Algeria and a smaller part of Tunisia and small part of Libya in the Maghreb. The polity was originally divided between Massylii in the east and Masaesyli in the west. During the Second Punic War (218–201 BC), Masinissa, king of the Massylii, defeated Syphax of the Masaesyli to unify Numidia into one kingdom. The kingdom began as a sovereign state and later alternated between being a Roman province and a Roman client state.
